SAVE BIG BY BUNDLING INSURANCE
DO I BUNDLE or DO I NOT BUNDLE? This is the marketing we often hear. Will bundling my insurance really amount to big savings? That is the insurance question … for many businesses and individuals. To be completely honest with you, the answer may not always be bundle and save or unbundled is better! Below is a break down on the 'why' or 'why not' purchasing a multi-policy insurance plan may be in your best interest.
Why should I bundle?
One invoice for all insurance policies
One carrier for all insurance plans
Carrier often give discounts for multiple policies
Why should I NOT bundle?
Diversified risk (policies with differnt carriers) often lowers premiums
Discounts for multiple lines with the same carriers may be misleading
Many times there are built-in riders that raise premiums than they need to be
Increased premiums on certain policies or plans may be hidden
The truth of the matter is the primary route to the greatest savings or lowest premiums is to diligently shop carriers for each policy separately, and who has the time for this? Contact your Integrated Insurance Agency Associate and they will work to find discounts or savings, of any kind, whether it is bundleing or by using a premium reduction technique such as deductibles.
Though shopping the carriers is a technique that is effective, for the general public, it is not always efficient, unless each policy provided by a specific carrier has a competitive base rate for the customer concerned. One given insurer is statistically unlikely to be most competitive in all lines like home, auto, life and health insurance rates; for example.
HOW DO I DECIDE WHAT IS BEST?
Contact your local Integrated Insurance Agency associate, they will be able to let you know what could be bundled and what should stand alone.
Quoting is free, let your Integrated Associate compare what you are paying, that is the best way to answer the question of should youhave insurance coverage under a multi-policy insurance plan.
Nevertheless, combining all your insurance with your independent Integrated Insurance associate should be in your best interest. Your IIA associate will advise you on the how to cover your assets and needs with several different carriers so you will be sharing the risk with several sources.
At Integrated we are a local, independent insurance agency that works with multiple carriers striving to work to make sure you have the best coverage at the lowest price.
So, if you have multiple coverages with one carrier, you may want to look at having your Integrated Insurance assciate look at diversifying. If bundling is cheaper, great! If it is not, this is still great, because you have a terrific premium rate.
The bottom line is bundling is essentially a marketing/sale’s strategy. This is why we at Integrated Insurance Agency do not use this marketing gimmick. Our aim is to create loyal customer who are happy.
